Soft Chilli Chicken Tacos
The theme is "Mexican Fiesta", with lots of small dishes of condiments to complement our soft, spicy chicken taco's.
Spanish Baked Chicken with Garlic and Lemon
With its sherry and paprika, this chicken has true Spanish flavour. For the herbs, I like to use a mixture of rosemary, thyme and mint.
Spanish Churros with Cinnamon-Scented Liquid Chocolate
Churros are long, sugared doughnuts, commonly served in the morning with a small cup of liquid chocolate scented with cinnamon. In Spain, it seems right to eat them for breakfast, but at home my brain shouts, 'Far too indulgent!' Instead I serve them for dessert and guests always love them.
Spicy Baked Chicken
I love these chicken pieces infused with tasty Thai flavours. You can also use chicken nibbles to make delicious party snacks. Serve hot or cold.
Spicy Bean Fritters
These bean fritters originated in Western Africa, but with the slave trade they spread to the Caribbean and Brazil. Crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle, they are variously known as acarajé and you see them sold everywhere in Salvador. These are my version of them.
