Bran Muffins
Method
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Mix in bran and sugar. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients. Lightly beat egg. Dissolve baking soda in milk. Melt golden syrup and butter together. Pour egg, milk and syrup mixture into dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Three-quarters fill greased muffin pans. Bake at 220C for 10-12 minutes or until muffins spring back when lightly touched.
