Mrs Cook's Fruit Loaf
Nothing reminds me more of a delightful morning tea than fruit loaf. In a previous decade, I would have smothered this delight in softened butter, but these days, I am more interested in the mix of spice and sultanas.
Mum's Christmas Plum Pudding
Yum, Yum, Pudd of Plum. This is a brilliant, fruity, traditional Christmas cake everyone will enjoy.
Note the ounces (oz) usage rather than kilograms. This is a traditional recipe handed down through generations!
FYI - 35 ounces="1" kg. So 8oz is approximately 300g. 4oz is 150g.
Oh, and with this recipe there is but one rule: 1 glass for the pudd, 1 for the cook....

Pancakes with Honey and Creamy Yoghurt
A chef I admire for his stand on healthful, easy food is Raymond Blanc - one of Britain’s leading culinary lights – from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saissons near Oxford. I love the figs in his very good book Blanc Vite, and in this recipe I have served them on pancakes drizzled with yoghurt. The flavour of the figs is superb, and the dish makes a lovely healthy dessert.
Passionfruit Shortbread
Passionfruit are in abundance over winter and this easy shortbread recipe is a divine way to use them up! The icing is delectable and just so easy! It's simply the passionfruit pulp and icing sugar. The shortbread biscuits are simple and scrumptious.
